Calgary Affordable Housing Foundation is raising dollars to support increasing the number of affordable homes. Join us in our mission to close the housing gap and help Calgary build safe, dignified and affordable housing for all.
There is an affordable housing crisis in Calgary. One in five Calgary households cannot afford their housing. There are currently approximately 300 affordable homes being built each year. The demand in far greater. At minimum, Calgary needs approximately 2,500 additional affordable homes each year.
There are solutions. CAHF is the go-to fundraiser with community donors for non-profit affordable housing agencies. CAHF raises funds to supplement government commitments and to help agencies build homes. CAHF helps accelerate the building of units by supporting affordable housing charities and extending donor support.
Calgary Affordable Housing Foundation is a registered charity in Canada. CAHF is governed by a volunteer board.
